Premier COVID Testing utilizes technicians, licensed medical professionals, Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Nurses, Physician Assistants, and/or Nurse Practitioners that are under the guidance of our medical directors that can serve customers in any county. PPE and decontamination guidelines will be strictly followed as is currently the case with all Premier Ambulance transports.
Medical Director – Kevin Andruss, MD
Dr. Andruss is an emergency physician at PIH Health Hospitals in Whittier and Downey. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, he went on to receive his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. He has a special interest in prehospital care and is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. Currently, Dr. Andruss serves as the Paramedical Base Hospital Medical Director for PIH Health Whittier Hospital and the Emergency Department Medical Director for PIH Health Downey Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
